Acute pancreatitis (AP) is an insidious disease with potentially lethal complications. Most patients experience a mild self-limiting form of AP with low mortality and morbidity rate. The aim of this study was to analyze the quality of life of the patients treated for IPN regarding morphology and its function.
Diagnosis and treatment of cystic lesions of the pancreas – still might be a mystery
A case of 69-years-old women with cystic lesion of the pancreas is being reported. The cyst has enlarged and patient underwent endoscopic transpapillary drainage. Presented case show the problem of pancreatic cyst management despite of progress in diagnostic and visualizing techniques.
